Set up in Apil, 1999, Shandong Hualian Group Co., Ltd., is located in the first village of China rubber tyres, 10 kilometers from the east of Guangrao County proper, Dongying City. Its leading products include steel cord, carbon black, nylon 6 dipped tyre cord fabric and dipped polyester tyre cord fabric for radial tyres. The Group adopts the domestic leading level twisting machines, weaving machines and advanced production equipment imported from abroad for the production. The quality of products has reached the leading level among the same industry. The group is the largest tyre cord production enterprise in this area at the present. The newly set up 50, 000t/y radial tyre steel cord project in which the corporate invested 1.2 billion yuan in 2003 is high in technical content, for which the overseas advanced technologies are introduced so that the products quality are up to standards. The roduct have been used by many radial tyre manufactures.
