Shanghai Toncom Communication Apparatus Co., Ltd. is an innovative industrial corporation. Our former, Ninghai Postal Equipments Factory was set up in 1972. In 2000, it changed name to Ningbo New Century Communication Equipments Co., Ltd. Our company has been awarded with ISO9001 quality management system certification since May 2003. In the same year, Shanghai Toncom Communication Apparatus Co., Ltd. was established. Our company now covers an area of 18000sqm, with 280 employees, including more than 50 professional designers. Our sub-company, Hangzhou Kai Wu Tang Industrial Design Co., Ltd. was formed in 2003. Meanwhile, our company is dedicated to urban facility development research and has close long-term cooperation with some outstanding domestic industrial design units, like Donghua University Toncom Design Office, Tongji University, and China Academy of Art.



Our company takes formidable industry modeling and structural design technology as a core. Ningbo production base consists of fully equipped workshops for manufacturing public facilities, covering sheet-metal plating, PMMA processing, FRP manufacturing, screen printing, lettering and spraying. Our Numeric-Control Processing Center in Shanghai is equipped with numerical control machines and has high-standard processing technologies. Our company has a capacity of annually production of 30,000 telephone-booths, 2,000 stand-shelters and more than 5,000 units of other public facilities. We also have ability to coordinate with city authority of overall outward appearance design and planning, scale production and experience on project implementations.
