In 2008, Drilling Mud Additive Factory was reformed to Dongying Mingde Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. of China University of Petroleum by the stipulation of Ministry of Education of PRC.
Mingde is comprised of Petroleum Additive Factory, Mud Technical Service Center, Plasma Slotted Liner & Screen Factory, Petroleum Equipment Company, Well Completion and Sand Control Technology Center. There are more than 5 branches in Beijing, Xinjiang, Jilin, Kazakhstan etc. Our technical service mainly engaged in drilling mud research and development, site drilling mud design and service, technical solution for high difficulty well, research and production of drilling mud additives, oil production additives and refining additives, R&D of downhole tools and sand control tools. In 2011, the first well drilling and completion research center-Well Completion Engineering and Technology Research Center, mainly engaged in drilling and completion technology and relative tools R&D. The Plasma Slotted Liner technology is proved to reach the international leading level, and awarded the Science and Technology Award by the Ministry of Education, China Petroleum and Chemistry Industrial Association and China Mechanical Industrial Association. It has been applied worldwide with great success and proved extremely well because of its unique construction and characteristics
There are four research centers in Mingde, drilling mud technical research center, oil production research center, refining additives research center and completion & sand control technology and tools research center under supervision of professors from China University of Petroleum.
The actual capital of Mingde is over 50,000,000 RMB, and the authorized asset capital is 15,000,000 RMB. It covers an area of 54000 m2 in total, and the production area is 40000 m2, building area 14000 m2 . The production ability is as follows: 5000 metric tonnes liquid petroleum additives, 3000 metric tonnes solid petroleum additives, 100,000 meters plasma slotted liner. With the two aspects, Mingde has great production and marketing ability to meet current needs.
