SHEA INSTITUTE CANADA Shea butter Processing Center exposes you to the quality experience of natural products from Ghana. Our years of experience in sheabutter processing, African black soap making and other commodity sourcing has enabled us create confidence and satisfaction with our clients. At SHEA INSTITUTE CANADA Shea butter Processing Center, we deliver quantity with quality. Consistency in quality and quantity and meeting delivery dates is our trademark. As direct producers of our products we offer you much better prices. Our sheabutter processing facility engages 120 women to extract our Grade A unrefined sheabutter in addition, we operate five other women groups in five communities to help boost production to enable us meet delivery dates.



Shea butter from Ghana is unique because of the quality of its Shea nuts. Our procedure of harvesting and processing Shea nuts gives a sheabutter with high levels of Vitamin A and E. Our black soap is made with well dried and non-decayed cocoa pods ensuring that the soap has a good natural lather and is gentle to the skin.

SHEA INSTITUTE CANADA Shea butter contains 100% natural sheabutter made with well-processed Shea nuts. Shea butter is a fatty-acid extracted from the kennels of vitellaria paradoxa (Shea tree). It contains high levels of UV absorbing tri-terpe ne esters including cinnamic acid and vitamins A and E. The high fatty acid content of sheabutter makes it an excellent additive to soap, shampoos, lotions and massage oils.



It moisturizes and protects the skin and scalp and improves hair texture, moisture and growth. Shea butter helps heal burns, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff and stretch marks.



SHEA INSTITUTE CANADA Shea butter is unrefined and comes in three natural colors of light yellow, white and ivory. We also produce deep yellow sheabutter by the use of a natural root dye. Our sheabutter produced from carefully selected nuts and processed at our well resourced processing facility will give you a much lower FFA, moisture and impurity levels. Our sheabutter is processed upon order and does not pass through a middle-person and so is very fresh. It has a shelf life of up to 24 months. Our comprehensive sampling procedure ensures that quality is assured through each batch of the sheabutter produced.







Black soap originates from West Africa and has been the soap of most West Africans for centuries. It is made from plantain skin, cocoa pod or a mixture of both. The plantain skin contains high levels of vitamin A and E as well as iron, making it efficient for cleaning and lightening the skin. Other names of black soap are Alata Samina or Anago Samina. Our Black soap contains dried plantain skin, cocoa pod, coconut oil, palm kernel, palm oil and sheabutter.
