So.Co.Fer. S.r.l., was founded in the 1970’s and is the Italian sector leader in railway and tramway products and has been manufacturing and supplying railway points, tram lines and their associated components for use on conventional, as well as high speed and secondary lines, ringways and private installations for over 30 years. The plant has 12,000 sq metres of factory space and 50.000 sq metres of warehousing. We started making points more than thirty years ago. And our strength was our power of innovation. We wanted to build points with that something extra, and the result is safer points with excellent features. Today each point that we build results from an advanced 3d-fem and cad-cam analysis of its crucial components. We think that is a good idea to design a point to the owner’s requirements, and to ensure improved safety for rail transportation. Manufacturing points means carrying out a public responsibility.
