Fuda has started to participate in the early investigation and feasibility study work of government project of producing XPS foaming agent by CO2 instead of HCFC in 2009, and this project was jointly organized by UNIDO and the National Ministry of Environment Protection; furthermore, Fuda has insisted on the independent massive equipment transformation and experimental works for many years since 2009 and achieved some progresses. In 2013, Fuda became the first batch of acquiring the special funds of multilateral funds of UNIDO at home and finally completed the upgrading of production equipment upon the long-term standard operation and management system, sustainably and stably grown business volume and exploration of CO2 foaming for many years. At present, Fuda Company has been became the sole manufacturer for producing zero ODP matter environment-friendly extruded sheet taking CO2 as the main foaming agent in the whole South China, and actual output can reach 300, 000 cubic meters per year. If it is calculated upon the consumed HCFC of annual output sales of 150, 000 cubic at present, when the extruded sheet is produced by completing adopting CO2 foaming agent instead of HCFC, the Company will reduce 750 ton HCFC usage approximately per year, which is equal to reduce emission of 1.5 million ton greenhouse gas, so as to reduce the greenhouse gas effect (GWP); meanwhile, the impact on damaging ozone sphere potency is reduced; it is also the world-class issue that the environment protection organizations in the whole world concern very much.

After Fuda has the ability of producing fluoride-free environment-protection extruded sheet since 2014, Fuda has been started to export zero ODP environment-protection extruded sheet to traditional extruded sheet market with strict limit on ODP matter content in North America and Europe through continuously market widening; meanwhile, Fuda has also exported a lot of zero ODP environment-protection extruded sheet to Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, and other areas.
