Sahakaar (Empowering women through Income generating groups) is a project of Care The Slums, a registered Voluntary organization with its focus on community transformation. We believe that as the overall empowerment is crucially dependent on economic empowerment, we are trying to transform the slums by making them self-reliant, creating a society where every individual can live with dignity.
