Luxor bazar was conceived by mahmoud hammam in april 2004 and went 'live' on the Internet in may 2006.

Luxor bazar was created for a two of reasons. Firstly, hammam has had a love of ancient Egyptian art for a number of years.

Secondly, to make the pharaonic antiques available for every one via the Internet, sold anything relating to ancient Egypt. There are plenty of general African shops but none really dedicated to ancient Egypt. For anyone wanting to purchase products relating to ancient Egypt they had to either actually make sure they bought everything they required while on holiday in Egypt or purchase from web sites in Egypt. The products that sold in the Egyptian web site was hand made so u can touch the civilization.
