Our primary focus is the export of quality, locally produced goods to satisfy an ever-growing Specialty Foods Market. At the core of our business ethos is a strong desire to contribute to the economic development of Laos by supporting small, local producers and manufacturers. Many of our products are Fair Trade Certified.
Our Food Products, marketed under the Trade Winds banner, are all locally produced with traditional methods using only natural, pesticide-free ingredients.
The vast majority of coffee grown is of the Robusta variety, although Arabica and Carimore are also used. All coffee used by Trade Winds is 100% organic, meaning that no chemical fertilizer or pesticides is being or have been used on plant stock or soil for at least three years.
