The Organization was created in Mexico back in 1953 with the first brand name Zaga Junior to supply the unattended market for children underwear.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the company was primarily focused to supply small clothing stores in Mexico City. Subsequently, in the 1970's the name Bambi was born as a result for the need to identify the product name with the targeted sector. Bambi is the diminutive for the Italian word Bambino which means child.

The brand name was immediately accepted by the sector and allowed a great immersion.
